We are now accepting applications for DFEST 2009 showcasing artists. You first need to create a profile in the online database. Then, completed our online database form and then decide to either complete your submission by submitting through Sonicbids or submitting by mail.

Every artist, whether new or returning, will need to create a new record. Additionally, everyone will need to submit the online submission form.
COST TO SUBMIT APPLICATION: $15.00
One one band may be submitted with record in the database.
If you have a label, you must submit each artist individually.
This is the first step in applying to be considered for a Dfest 2009 showcase.
There are enough spaces to list 9 band members, if you have more members than this, please email us with your band name in the Subject Line and give us the additional members' names. Please only list the band members who would be performing during your showcase if selected.
There are TWO easy choices to pick from for you to complete your application once you have completed the online form

Dfest guarantees that 30 slots will be reserved exclusively for SonicBids artists.
For only $19.95 you can become a Sonicbids member for 3-months
and submit to Dfest 2009 at No Additional Charge. As a
Sonicbids member you will be notified of Music Festivals and
other Musical Events direct to your email.
Note: Please don't just email your EPK to us or send us a note or email to "check out your EPK". That's not an official submission. And while we might check you out personally out of curiosity of just being music fans, we WILL NOT consider you for a showcase unless you actually submit your EPK through SonicBids, no matter how cool you are or even if we really like your music -- we can't. It's not fair to the artists who have taken the time to submit correctly. We make the assumption that if you have a SonicBids account that you actually understand and are smart enough to know how SonicBids works. If you're not interested in SonicBids, then check out option #2 for completing your artist submission.

2. SNAIL MAIL SUBMISSION: Print the email you received after filling out the online form that has your form information, and then send the printed form along with a completed package which should include the following:
+ a CD with a minimum of three songs (do not refer us to your webpage to download music)
+ a Band presskit that includes your bio and a photo
+ a $15 check or money order made out to Diversafest
(If your CD contains more than three songs, please indicate the three tracks you want to be considered.)
We will confirm receipt of your mailed application/submission via e-mail.
Please try to send your completed submission within two weeks of filling out this form.
These items will become the property of Dfest and will not be returned.
Please do not contact Dfest about your showcase status,
you will be notified no later than May 5, 2009 of your showcase status.
Submission does not guarantee a showcase.
Please don't forget to send in these materials or your application will not be considered.
Filling out the online form alone is not a complete submission.
All mailed submissions must be postmarked by March 27, 2009.
